Trophies for BAWA Competitions

BAWA hosts popular knockout competitions for a variety of sports from football to rounders, and pool to cricket. You can enter teams of colleagues or friends to take on the other challengers in the fight for glory.

It is easy to follow your team and find out how the competition is doing from the table below. There are trophies to be won and the happy faces of the winning teams will be put on the website for all to admire!

Competition dates and application

The registration fee for non-football competitions is £2 per player for each competition while the registration fee for the 5 a side and 11-a-side football competitions is £2.50 per player. This fee includes match fees, sandwiches, trophies, payment of officials and equipment where necessary.

Please note there is no limit to the number of players allowed to register for your team, though they must each pay the required registration fee.

FUN RUN -  Wednesday 18th June, 6pm, £1 fee.
11 A SIDE FOOTBALL  –  Teams of 11 (plus 3 subs), Registration forms must be received  by Friday 23rd May. The competition is due to start Monday 16th June.
TENNIS – Mixed Singles. Registration forms must be received  by Friday 13th June. The competition is due to start Monday 23rd June.
VOLLEYBALL - Teams of 6. Registration forms must be received by Friday 27th June. The competition is due to start Monday 7th July. 

Medals/trophies will be awarded on the night of each final.

Both football competitions will be officiated by GFA referees. An up to date results/fixtures service will be available on the BAWA website.

How to register

Registration forms for each competition can be collected from BAWA Sports Reception or be obtained by phoning Julian on 0117 976 8065, RR 96160, Airbus 64642 or email eventsandsport@bawabristol.org.

Registration forms must be sent to the leisure centre by the closing date published for each competition - late entries cannot be accepted as the competitions must start on the dates organised. Registration Fees must be paid for in advance of the first game of the competition. Cheques are accepted and should be made payable to 'BAWA', Credit cards and cash also accepted.
